loctite super glue???

believe it or not..the gel glue from the dollar store works really well too. Have used loctite too but find it expensive for the amount needed.

micheals ,which is a craft shop here sells a product called metal magic its 100% acryl acralate ie.superglue and it costs much much less so do a little homework on this one because you can get it much cheaper and believe me i go through tons of it .

You may want to check out how much it is at Pat Catan's. Generally their prices are better on most stuff, wouldn't be surprised if it is a buck or two less.

Thanks all would have bought the dollar store stuff myself but the wife thought she was being good and got me the expensive stuff. Who am I to complain? Now if it only worked like that with everything else!

I buy the loctite brand super glue GEL from Lowes... only because they sell a larger 10 gram tube for like $4.00 or something. The 4 gram triangle looking container costs around $2.50, but I go through them too fast. Those dollar store ones are about one and done as far as usage goes IMO.

I didn't intend on doing this, but the last loctite triangle container I used, I ended up tearing off the top and there was nothing but a very small tube in it. Don't think I'll buy the triangle any more.

Maybe so..but you get 3 small tubes per dollar. So at 4 bucks you get 12 tubes..which translates into 6 grams per $1...so 24g per $4. Not a bad deal IMO.
