I like it, but I have concerns about that photo being our property and copyright violations. I have a pretty BA shark picture I took myself, if you want to try it.

My only concern with the map is that it suggests we have a much larger area for our club base.

If Reggie gave permissions, I thought this would be a good photo to work off of.

I pictured cropping it down to about 80% of that. The putting in a nice large script of Appalachain Reef Society on the right side to offset the Clown and cap. Then if needed mute out that area behind the text with some black which has a soft fade back to the photo.

I can picture it, but I don't have the skills to make the software do what I want.... I tried. I haven't given up yet.

Which leaves us something like this . . . not bad, but kind of boring. If we could superimpose some reefishness on it it might jazz it up a little.

What we really need is for someone to aquascape their tank into that map below and take a photo of it. That would be wicked cool. Do it, Baldwin, do it. The cool kids would like you if you did (lol)

my brother is a photgrapher, and heis a IT guy at marshall graduate coolege, I know he can come up wih something good, I'll run it by him 2night when he gets home.

My brother can't spell so appalachian needs to be fixed, and their is some minor tweaking that I need to do to it, maybe change the picture of the reef tank. But here is another one to choose from.

The image quality also went down because photobucket blew up the size of it.

When I think of logo, I think of something that is recognizable on a business card. Postage stamp size.
If it is a stand alone type of poster/sticker or something, it should at least have this web site address.
It's also possible that this club could have a "slogan" and the slogan would need to be there as well.
