I didn't find that very funny. :(
Had the shark not been exhausted it might have been a different story.
This is just my opinion, everybody has a different sense of humor.

Maybe I saw it different but it appeared to me the dog was bringing it to the shore. No different then placing it in a net? Is it any more cruel? Either way it would of died.

Am I missing something? I didn't think it was funny per se, but thought it was neat that the dog "retrieved" it to the shore like it would a rabbit or quail.

I think this tread should be removed, not funny at all!!

It didn't break any RC rules therefore it can' be removed...:eek2:

Guys, the shark would have died anyways. I did think it was CRUEL that the people were killing the shark but I thought what the dog did was funny. You guys are acting as if the dog killed the shark which is not the case. Not to mention, I don't think any owner with common sense would let their dog in the water with a full energized healthy shark. This shark however was near death.

I thought it was kind of neat to watch the dog do what was natural, find it kind of odd that it would be so eager to retrieve a shark even if it was a shark near death.

I would imagine they still ate the shark. It looked like a nice size steak. We caught a few and ate ours and we just tossed it on ice. At least that shark was already or near dead.

Can someone enlighten me on how it is cruel though? As far as we know, it still is going to be consumed. Yes if it was tossed away, then yes cruelty.

And I used to love watching faces of death when I was a teenager. It's all fake anyway.

All i can say the dog is well trained. Its normal for retrievers to retrieve birds as such but this dog getting a shark is actually amusing.

agreed

I guess humor and amusement are in the eye of the beholder............
Sorry, I wouldnt let any of my dogs near the water while fishing. Its just asking for trouble. How many pictures do you see of fish that were being reeled in that were chomped in half by a shark before they could get it in the boat?
Some people value a good (in their deranged mind) story over the life of their pet. To them, usually the pet is disposable.

Very sad
