Long Spined Urchin Question

Hey everyone, so I bought a long spine about 2 weeks ago. He's been doing great.. but today I noticed that the eye looking butt is sucking in and out of his body. I haven't seen him poop or anything.. it just keeps going into him. Any idea what he's doing?

Hey everyone, so I bought a long spine about 2 weeks ago. He's been doing great.. but today I noticed that the eye looking butt is sucking in and out of his body. I haven't seen him poop or anything.. it just keeps going into him. Any idea what he's doing?

I've had the same one for years and it does the same thing from time to time. I would only worry if it is sitting in one spot for a long time and has droopy spines or dropping spines.
