I have a long rose tip anemone and a bubble tip anemone and the long tentacle decided to place itself right next to the rbta. the tentacles do touch and am wondering if they'll hurt themselves. thanks

Usually, when an LTA moves toward another anemone, it's an act of aggression (or defense, depending on how you look at it). Probably not good news.

You can try moving the BTA up and farther away from the sandbed, but I'll bet they'll find each other again. Are you running carbon in your system?
