longest your clams have lived with PM

my clams are now going on over a month with what i would call BAD PM, how long have your clams lived with PM? Mine have looked so bad that every day i keep thinking they won't make it another day.

the pics don't do it justice how bad they are, 3 of the five almost always have there mantle sticking straight up and all have curls in there mantles in 5 or 6 spots. i have done everything like carbon and massive water changes and wet skimming. i'm just curious how long they can live like that. but i have noticed something today that one of mine that is purple had doubled the amount of electric blue streaks in its mantle in the last few days http://www.clamsdirect.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2284&sid=871494c3857608d28e9f303ff01f029e

i went and looked through your other post, sorry to not have responded earlier ( summer is busy for me ).

are you running any Fe based phosphate remover?

i see your running carbon and changing frequently, but how much and in what method ( in a sock / reactor )

your original photo's look worse than the others, any changes?


PS: are you dipping them all at once, or in turns?

they all get diped at the same time in different buckets and my carbon is run thru a hot magnum and i change the carbon every 2 days. the only source of Fe was in the F2 fertilizer that i was feeding to the phyto that i inturn feed to the clams that i have now stopped. i really hope barry hears something soon this is freaking me out!
