Would like to see the mouth more closed, and perhaps some fuller tentacles. But over all it doesn't look all that bad.

When I got my blue one from there it looked very similar to that (( blue of course )) and it settled in right away.

Here is a picture of it acclimating. (( little faded because of the flash ))

What do you guys think about how many fish they eat? I have a 90g with a sparse amount of LR so there aren't many places to sleep, I just get really POed if my carpet ate all my fish.....

I actually have two in my 75 ( a yellow/tan one for 7+ years and the blue one ) and in all that time I have lost one fish, a yellow watchman goby. That occurred about 4-5 years ago.

Not sure what I am doing that is stopping my fish from being caught, because they will try to pick bits of food off of them.

That def. makes it more tempting.....but I have heard many stories, and with a hippo that sleeps in my in-tank fuge, I think I may end up giving it a miss, and going with a LTA...

Is that a shrimp they put in its mouth or is that a part of the anemone? I wish they would take a close up picture of the mouth and foot. The way they take pictures it seems like they are trying to hide some thing.

It's hard to tell if a pic has been photoshopped or not. There are too many variables....from the camera used to take the pic, any processing after it was uploaded to the vendor's site, all the way to how your monitor is adjusted.

I just assume that anything I buy on the net won't look as colorful as it does on a website.

Low expectations = satisfaction, and sometimes happy surprises.

I did buy it, arrived today and it's color is just as in pic. It is currently trying to bury it's foot. Mouth was gaping when it arrived but has now closed tight and looks good. Hope it makes it. I have never had a carpet anemone before but have read lots of posts here and elsewhere. I do have several other anemones in other tanks-sebae,LTA, and GBTA that are all several yrs old. Carpet is in a 3 yr old 180G.
