Pretty fish. Not so pretty cords in the background. Shame on you![]()
I feel your pain, but I think this is a losing battle.<a href=showthread.php?s=&postid=9465029#post9465029 target=_blank>Originally posted</a> by Slakker
[Just splitting hairs here, but Black Percula doesn't exist...it's often a common name for the black variant of A. Polymnus(and sometimes the black var. of A. Ocellaris), which, obviously, aren't the same species as A. Percula. [/B]

I know I have seen clowns called Black Percs on websites like this:

I also am pretty sure the ones we currently have in the store are labeled as Black Percs as well. I have tomorrow off, but if we have the scientific name on it at work I will bring it in.

Bad news. I was walking through previously mentioned LFS today and they had another fish that looked exactly like mine but about 3-4 months older. Ironically enough it didn't have a label so I asked and they said it was a Fiji Tomato. Now I am very suspicious as to the actual kind of clown I have. is it possible to make a distinguishing ID at this age? Also, I can provide more pictures if necessary. Thanks Everybody.
