not sure what they came in on. Just noticed my zoas were having some issues, and closed up for no reason. So out they all come for a dip. Found about 100 I could count, and countless babies, and one egg cluster. I would assume I have more dips in my future. Fun times. They are nice pretty ones though. Thought of keeping them in my pico.
They are pretty under actinics....but friggin monsters nonetheless.
I have got the mommas off with very aggresive Kent Lugols dip. Need to look closely for any eggs and scrape off. Kent doesn't kill right away, but stuns them off to remove.
I first did a dip with coral rx ant 10 times the dose, and only killed the biggest ones, then I did lugol's, Didn't do much of anything. Thats what I had on hand so today I went and got some flatworm exit four drops to a quart of water and they were melting like the wicked witch in no time.
Zoa eating nudibranch. The worst thing to have in a tank with zoas. They can reach plague proportion in no time. Just like having flatworms, and acro. Same level of potential disaster. Look here for more info on them if you have zoas, http://www.coralpedia.com/index.php?module=Gallery2&g2_itemId=384 and as I always suggest quarantine, and dip before you put in your DT.
