Looking for a 48" 125g rr.

Hello. I am fairly new to the hobby. Had my 30 Gal going strong for about 2 years. It is time to upgrade. I was hoping to find someone looking to unload a 48" 125+ gal tank that is ready to go. Looking for a decent price. Thanks for your help!

I have a 5' 125 RR: entire package - tank, stand, canopy, VHO lights, sump, downdraft skimmer, 2 big pumps, all internally plumbed and ready to go now. Was looking for $650, but will accept reasonable offers. It's taking up too much space in my living room now! The thing is, it's a 5' tank.

Venom, a 4ft tank... might be easier to find as a 90 or a 120. 5-6 feet will let you move into more choices if you have the space.

That's a really good deal I got my tank for $200 w/stand, but by the time I added all the other stuff lights, skimmer...etc. cost me $$$$ and I don't even have a sump I wish there was a package like this when I was shopping around. Good luck finding something cheaper.

We are moving to a new house soon and will finally have room for a larger tank. Is yours still available?
If so, what color is the stand/canopy, and how old is the system?

Fuzzy,

Tank is still available - the system is probably several years old - we bought it used, so I honestly don't know. The whole thing looks to be a custom job, because the sump and skimmer fit very snugly inside the canopy to save room for all the other stuff you keep around a tank. We just replaced all the seals on the skimmer, and the VHO bulbs have about 3 months of use on them. The stand and canopy are painted a flecked gray color, but could very easily be repainted to match your decor.

Don't worry about it. Good luck finding something! I agree that something smaller would better fit your budget, and they are out there if you look enough. Budgets are awfully hard to keep in this hobby!
