Looking for a big piece of LR/Dead rock

how big is "x-large" ?? I have a ton (ok not literally) of live rock, some rather large pieces too... granted they're not 2 feet wide pieces, but maybe a few 1 foot pieces.
 
Elite, why don't you try to make one? And what is Large in dimensions. I could take that as 4' x 4'
 
I've read to can order from Liveaquaria.com their Lalo rock and just ask for 1 big piece and they can send you a 30lb boulder..:D

25-30 lbs piece would be good. 14"-17" is good .. I have some already already. I just need a show piece. Something look interested (not round) :D . I don't know how to make rock :( ..
 
Well, I didn't mean boulder in the literal sense..:lol: I don't think they occur like that naturally in the ocean.
 
I ordered 45 pounds from live aquaria, It came in two pieces. It was white though. took 5 months to turn purple. it was supose to be cured
 
Uhm...according to their site it states that you'll need to cure it yourself. Plus I wonder, some guy wasn't happy with what he got so they sent him a new box, and included a call tag for the other box. I guestimate that original box has been out of water for at least a week, I wonder who gets that box?
 
I ordered a lot of rock from LA before and they're all nice. :) .. If nobody has what I'm looking for I will just order some base rock from reeferrocks :) ..

It's base/dead rock from reeferrock.com ... I'm going to order 50lbs from them. :)
Shipping is a killer because they are so far away.
 
hmmm I should sell off some of my old rock for a premium price! But I dont want to go through the hassle of taking it out and photographing every piece :)
 
You can take pic of the whole thing :D .. If you are in San Jose, I would stop by right away. It's be suck if I drive for an hour and can't find what I need :p .
 
Ask a LFS, like Mermaid or NAA, to order you one large piece/box. If you contact either, they may be able to have it friday as a shipment is coming in tomorrow to a local wholesaler.
 
I ordered from hirock before. Don't like it that much. They sent me nothing but round shape rock and their rocks are super dense. That's cool guys. I have couple people contact me already. If I don't get from them I will get from reeferrock :).. Thanks
