Looking for a couple items

I am hoping my college refund check comes in the next week or two, they've started processing them so should be pretty soon: That being said, I am in the market for a couple of items.

I have a 75g mixed reef tank, would like to be able to put pretty much any corals in there with confidence they will thrive. I am already placing an order for a new set of lights, 99% sure im getting a maxspect razor system(two 20.5 inch 120w) Im also looking for:

New skimmer currently running a seaclone:headwally:

RO/DI system(can not install live in apt and not allowed to change things) Not even sure if something like this exists.

TDS meter

1 Powerhead hydor style around 750gph

Figured I would ask here first maybe get a good deal on something you've got laying around, before I go online and go shopping. Wanted to get the word out there before I get the money and it burns a hole in my pocket. May not be able to afford everything so the list is in order of importance.

For RODI:

second video here shows connecting temporary (could be a good solution for you): http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/brs-5-stage-plus-ro-di-system-75gpd.html

you should consider a tote with a shutoff valve (http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/reverse-osmosis-float-valve.html). can be installed on any size container (including a 5 gallon) - drill a hole and install. that way once it is full it will shut off the RODI so you don't make a mess.

the RODI would need to have the shutoff valve installed which the one I linked above does.

for a skimmer I have what I'm pretty sure is a G1 skimmer (might be the X, not really sure) with a sedra 2500 rated for a 100 -150 gallons. It has a chip in the collar from the last time i loaned it out & the foam on the exit tube is MIA. The chip shouldn't be an issue. Skims great. $80. pickup only, not shipping.

Most RO/DI come with the option for a faucet attachment. That being said, easy enough to install under a sink in the copper and just seal it off when you leave. Few would be any the wiser.

Are you referring to tapping in with a valve used to supply an ice maker? I would question whether you would have enough pressure after the oriface to push it through a ro membrane.
Few would be wiser, however it would be knowingly altering (damaging?) your landlords property, then trying to conceal it after the fact. NOT cool.
The faucet attachment seems like a reasonable option.

Bulk Reef carries a space saver RO/DI. Never used it or know anyone who has one, but if you live in an apartment and space is an issue as well that might be something to look into.

Awesome, and yea exactly. They are allowed in anytime they wish with 24hr notice. If they just happened to check something, I could lose my apt lol not worth it for me. Thanks for the responses. I failed to mention Im looking for a HOB skimmer right now, as my sump is not capable of a in sump skimmer. I have a seaclone, and it doesnt seem to do a great job.
