I am looking for a 20 gallon long, or a 29 gallon or both. If anyone has one please let me know. The tank does not have to hold water it is for a new snake that we have acquired.

I am getting ready to empty my 29, but it comes with stand and lights. I want $150 for the whole set up. I have a 20 that I will sell you for $15.

The reef shop still has some 22 gallon tanks with the angled front from an old petsmart for $10. That would make a great snake tank.

We have a ball python, a new jungle carpet python and one of only three known pairs of Steppe's rat Snakes in the US.

You will find a ball python would be better off in something around a 55. Fortunately it will not get very large so a 4' tank should work fine. I really would'nt do much smaller.

I've had a red tailed boa and a burmese python at times. When they outgrew the tank, I sold them instead of getting a larger tank.

The one thing you will want to do, is make sure the top is very secure. Snakes are very strong and will push the top off, then you will find them in the darndest places at the worst times.

A 6' burmese is a real PITA to remove from a toilet. Several feet of snake finds it's way to the trap and hangs on until IT'S ready to come out.
