Looking for a pocket digital camera

I am trying to find the best bang for the buck in a pocket sized digital camera. I would like to keep cost at $150 or less.

What would be all of your suggestions?

I would try to spend a little extra for a waterproof Olympus camera (SW series camera). They are waterproof to about 30 ft. I believe - you can plunge the camera right into the tank for top down pics that way. They generally can be had in the 200-250 range.

check the options, you can also get a underwater case for diving...even Gary Parr was surprised at the quality of the images I took at his photo class at IMAC.

+1 on the Cannon, pretty good pics for the price. I have a Cannon G9 and love it but it's a bit pricey

I ended up with a Panasonic DMC-FZ18 its apart of the "super zoom" class. I got a lot of info from this site.
