Looking for a tank for my classroom!

Hey all,
I teach science to 6-8th graders and I am looking to set up a All in one reef aquarium in the back of my classroom to study ecosystems. I understand the costs of this stuff is a lot and am looking to piece something together. A bio cube looks great and easy to get started. Thanks in advance!

Hi,
When you get it set up, shoot me a PM and we can donate a couple of easy/starter corals.
Cheers! Mark

I have two Innovative Marine 10g tanks and love them. They are only $100 but you would have to get a light. Their stock light is good but it cant be dimmed with out some modifications. I have thought about bringing it down to my class, I am also a teacher but don't want to move it back home over the summer.

Good luck and keep us posted on how it works out for you!!

Aaron

Where are you located? I have a 14 gallon bio cube with LED I could donate to you with live rocks and sand.

I am located in hayward. I live decently close to aquatic collection. I could meet if there?

Says he's in san jose. You don't want to offer to meet up at neptunes? The guy is offering a free tank with sand and rocks. You want him to bring it down the street to? What I would do if someone was offering me their hard earned money for free is ask them where I could go to pick it up. When and where, whatever works for you. Sorry if this is offends you. Just thought maybe if I said something, maybe you or someone who asked the same selfish question when people are offering their hard earned money for free might think twice about the other persons time.

Maybe someone is feeling extra nice has some time on their hands and wants to deliver it to your classroom. You should let them decide.

No worries, I have had a few very generous donations for the tanks that I have donated to the schools around me. Unfortunately I won’t be able to make it up that way until at least a week from Tuesday if that will work.

Send me a PM.

My apologies. I seem to have offended someone by giving the impression of me being selfish. I think a lot of misconception can be interpreted through a message forum. By no means was i asking him to make a drive to me to donate a tank. He asked where I am located so i responded. Maybe I didn't even look at his location as rarely to people put a specific city. I just assume that people who respond here are "bay area" or "northern california" because 90% of the time thats all their locations says. SO i apologize if i seem to have offended some people with my "selfish" attitude. Lets try to not jump the gun

I have an old JBJ 24g Nanocube with hqi metal halide lighting in storage somewhere. Not sure if it has pumps but it's free if anyone's interested.

I'm in Milpitas [emoji14]
