Looking for a temporary Tank for my fish

Hello all! I am looking to setup a temporary holding tank for my fish and am looking for some advice as to what would be a good cheap way of holding them.

They unfortunately have come down with ich and will be moving into the tank transfer process tomorrow. After that however, I will need another tank to hold them while my main tank is fallow. I was thinking a small rubbermaid tank of some kind? something cheap?

I already have 2 20 gallon longs for the tank transfer as well as 2 10's. the 20's are for the tang mostly, i'm really hoping I can get away with such a small tank for the transfer process at least...

Tank stock:
Purple tang- nearing 4-5" in length
Starki Damsel 1"
Diamond watchman goby 4"
Clown fish 1.2-2"
Royal Gramma 2"
anthias 3"
Niger Trigger 2"

All fish are active and eating well! only issue I see currently is Ich.

Thanks for any advice!
Lars

I think you may be ok for the TTM with that livestock with those 20 gallon tanks. I think Petco may be doing the $1/per gallon sale for Black Friday (I may be wrong).

I would love it if it where so, Unfortunately I dont think they do the $1 per gallon sale here in Alaska. Although I will be checking...

Do you have PetSmart where you live? With their setups 50% off on Friday, it would be a lot of money up front but you probably could sell it off for what you payed on craigslist after, if there are many people looking for tanks on craigslist up there.

If Petco doesn't offer the $1 per gallon sale there, the next best cheap option would probably be a stock tank. Rubbermaids can't hold water but so high without starting to warp since they weren't really made to hold the pressure.

Why not just get a stock tank from Tractor supply. You can get a 110 gallon for 65 bucks a 60 gallon for even less. I mean, if it's temporary, why not?
