Odd request: Looking for black or grey foam to fill open spot in back of canopy between lid & tank. Space is 6-8" tall, just over 4ft long & would like +/- 2" thick. Need a few pieces to tinker.
I plan to use it to both pre-filter airborn particulates (farm country, nuff said) & as a light blocker so the halides don't create light pollution as they bounce off the wall behind the tank.
Tried hobby shop, fabric shop, walmart, surplus store, hardware stores. Nada. Foam -- but white, green, way expensive, airtight, etc.
I'm looking for stuff you see in guitar cases, gun cases, you know? Should allow air to pass. Will pay fair price.
