anybody have a used ph or calcium monitor they want to sell---go easy with the price--i just moved and funds are low

best bet is to buy Salifert test kits for calcium and alkalinity. Also, Milwaukee makes a portable pH meter (pocket sized). They're going for about 20 bucks on Ebay.
The next step up (price wise) would be to not only monitor but to control your llevels. I've got a Milwaukee pH/ORP meter/controller. It measures pH, and could conceiveably inject CO2 into the water automatically when pH becomes too alkaline. (since I don't inject CO2, I just use the meter function instead). It also doubles as an ORP meter/controller. I've got it hooked up to an ozone generator.
