I have a 90g tank that I am slowly adding corals to. I have some fire fish, a hawk fish, and a few chromis. I have 2 brittle star fish, 2 fire shrimps, a CBS and a skunk shrimp. It has a 3 to 4 inch sand bed and 140 lbs of live rock.
Next I have a 40g sump with about 25g in it at any time. I run a filter sock, protein skimmer and return pump. The return is spit to two tanks my main display and a refugium I am starting.
The Refugium is a 50g tank next to my display that waterfalls into the display tank. I have 20 to 30 lbs of live rock in this tank. It has a 8 inch deep sand bed. it has a black box led over it.
1) Looking on advice on good macro algae to have in the tank? keeping in mind it is display and want it to look nice.
2) is there any type of CUC recommended? I know with a DSB i dont want sand sifters.
3) I am going to add pods is there anything else to consider adding as well?

1-What macros look good to YOU? Research their needs and get those.
2- Cerith snails are my favorite. They reproduce in your tank to meet the needs of micro algae consumption. The tiny younger ones are amazing at removing micro algae from your macros. Skip hermit crabs unless you want your snails killed.
3-Spaghetti worms and brittle stars are excellent as well.

Best of luck!
