Hey Jim.. I just bought a new Yellowtail Pressure rated pump for my Skimmer....Willl be hooking it up later today...You might want to look into them...Big reason I got one was how quiet they are and how long Reeflo last.

Thanks Matt, I bought the swordtail and it wasnt strong enough. It was a lot quieter than the panword . But believe it or not the panworld 100PX 790gph did a better job than the Reeflo swordtail 1750gph. How tall is your skimmer ?

I have a dwyer SCFH meter. The panworld was reading 12-15 and the Reeflo 8-10. I want to get up to 22.

Mine is 32 inches tall....It's the biggest one they made of this style. I'm going to have a gate valve to throttle back the flow....That's what PM recommended. they thought the swordtail was too small for mine
