Are there any furniture makers in here by any chance? I have a few things I'd like finished but my carpentry skills are lacking...

my friend is a custom cabinet maker....works on home kitchen,baths, etc...hes making me a new stand for my new 187 tank.....Ill ask him if hes interested....where are you located...that my be the only problem....mike

I'm off Hwy50 about 10 min East of Folsom for reference.

I'm not in a big hurry either... Just want to start looking into what it's going to cost so I have an idea of how much I need to come up with.

One thing I'd like built is a custom canopy that would measure 72x30x30 give or take... still looking into design options at this point.

I also have 72" stand that I already built (framed) for the aquarium that I would like to have finished/covered/trimmed (in oak laminate?) and have some removable (magnetically mounted?) cabinet doors made for it as well.

The main issue with finishing the stand is it will have to be completed in my house as it is to large to move! The canopy can be built at the shop and I can pick it up once it's completed :bigeyes:
