Looking for reefers in Johnstown

Hi all. I am new to the area. I just moved up from Baltimore a couple of months ago. I am looking for anyone in the area that would want to trade frags or has any info on any local fish stores.

I am planning to attend the next PMAS meeting in Jan.

I currently have a couple of frags of Orange Montipora Capicornus that I would be willing to trade.

Thanks,

Jason

Hey Jason, I am not sure of too many in the J-town area, but I am in Altoona which is 45mins away. I also know of a handful of us in the Altoona area.

Gittlers in J-town (Moxam section) is decent for corals and fish but is kinda pricy. Next would be Cresson, JSK fish and more, just has fish(not a big selection)

Then the rest of the stores are in the Pittsburgh area so we are limited here. We travel from time to time so I am sure some of us in Altoona can help you out till you get familiar with the area.

LMK if you have any more questions. I can frag some stuff depending on what you are looking for.

thanks

Rick

Thanks for the info Rick. I stopped into Gittlers the other day and they had a decent selection, but I was a little surprised at the prices.

I appreciate the offer for frags and other the help as well. I am currently looking for zoos. Any color but green. I have lots of green. :)

Does anyone have any opinions what stores have the best prices for salt and other maintenance supplies?

Thanks,

Jason

Most of us that are east of the Burgh take a couple trips a year to TFP in Lancaster to get salt by the bucket. I belong to NCPARS and was involved with PMAS before and should be rejoining the club as my schedule permits it.

I have some pink zoos, as well as some tricolors but the tricolors are hard to frag but I can give it a shot. I also have a few misc zoo frags going that I can spare. WHO doesn't have excessive green? LOL

thanks,

Rick
