There is an active club in Springfield although they haven't been very active on RC. You probably can catch up with them on their club website.

SEAS is a really good club and they meet at Planet Coral in Springfield regularly.

From Kirksville, GIRS isn't super far away. There's a spring swap in May in Des Moines.
