I'm looking for some suggestions on placement for my vortec. I just got my first unit and would like to maximize the effect from it. In addition to the vortec, i've got a closed loop with a dart and 5-6 korelia pumps. the korelia pumps are scattered on the fishroom side pointing toward the front over the rock piles.
The tank is viewable on 3 sides. I'd like to avoid putting the vortec on the viewable end on the left if I can, but I will put it there if it is best.
Any suggestions for a good place to try a single vortec? eventually i'd like to get some more, but that wasn't in the budget for right now. Given that I can't place them on both ends, would I be able to get any wave action with multiple units? if so, where would they be placed and how many would you use?
