Looking for the best placement

I have a standard 55 gal mostly sps tank, and was wondering if putting them on the side of the tank opposite of eachother would be the best bet. Also right now i have them running on the reefcrest mode at almost 75% what would the gph be of that right now. Right now the only problem i am seeing is that the middle of the tank the poylps are swaying back and forth, but the sps nearst the vortechs are only swaying to one side, just wondering if this bad or if its ok, so just looking at possibilites. Thanks

Also what do you guys recommend for the amount of flow with 2 mp40 in a 55 gal.
