i figured I would ask if anyone locally is looking to get rid of either of these

i would prefer the wireless models but i am open to all offers.

These should be the last thing I need for my new setup

Thanks

I saw an ad on craigslist from a few weeks ago. It was in an ad for a full setup. 2 older MP40s $175 each i believe.

I saw that same posting and I emailed it on two different times but never heard back. They didnt list any contact info.

I also put a wanted ad on craiglist asking for these as well hoping that seller would see it

Thanks for the heads up.

if you plan on using the mp10 on the back of the tank you will need a mp20. the glass is to thick on a 180 for the mp10.

I am using a mp10 on my 180 with no issues. It works so wel I was actually going to get another. Never checked to see what glass thickness it works with but it has not moved at all.

I just checked and my marineland rr tank is actually only 3/8 thick on the back panel so I might be good

I have an MP40w, I just pulled it out of storage and need to fire it up tonight along with a few other pumps to make sure all is well before I offer it up for sale. I'll keep you posted.

That would be perfect. Just let me know. Thanks.

Hey Ray!

I'm doing well, working like crazy these days. I moved to the southside a few months ago to cut down my commute, and had to come to the realization that I'm not going to have the time/space for a tank for another couple of years.

How have you been? Btw... When I was looking through stuff, I found that Reef Fanatic CO2 regulator you gave me a while back. I fixed the solenoid valve in it if you want it. Figure you could use it as a back up, or lend it to another reefer if the need comes up.

Update:

I was having problems getting the pump to start up, and was getting an error light. After I took the pump apart, it looks like the magnet on the wetside split in two! There's a rather large crack running down it. So needless to say, I'll be contacting EcoTech Marine to see what they think. Then I'll either fix the pump 1st, or get an estimate of the repair cost and adjust the price accordingly. It may be as simple of a fix as just purchasing a new wet side (I think that runs like $90).

I had one of my magnets do the same thing.

Doing well, tanks not so well. Taking most of them down except my 180. Had lots of tank issues over the last 2 years. Lost all of my sps about 2 years ago and most of my fish over the last year. Consolidating everything into one tank. You can keep or sell the regulator, I still have one but I am not using a calcium reactor at this time.
