I am moving a 90 Reef to a 125G with a 110G sump. I would like to find an unusual fish that is Reef freindly and does not have eating issues. Just looking for some sugestions

Thanks

What types of fish do you like? We could suggest anthias, a smaller tang (bristletooth), wrasses, or even a centropyge angel if you want to gamble a bit with the reef safe.

Really depends on your taste and what you want to spend. You mention unusual, but how "unusual" are you looking!

I currently have a yellow and a sailfin Tang. Two Clarki clowns and 2 bangai Cardinals. I would not mind spending upwards of $500 for something colorfull and interesting.

possibly a pair of picasso clowns, not sure how dominant clarkis are though, i dont think that would work, i dont think your tank is big enough, but i think those are amazing

Unusual? Black Tang for about $600 (I think?) I'm just not sure how well it would get along with your yellow and sailfin. For a fish like that though, you could get rid of the 2 'common' tangs you currently have just to get the black tang. That would be pretty cool...as much as I love tangs, I'll never drop the coin for one. ;) If you wanted to spend more $$, look into a gem tang. If you can find one that is.

Now here is one to turn some heads........

Here's a much prettier picture of the same genus:

(Eumicrotremus pacificus)

Unfortunately its a cold-water fish.

some fish for consideration

I don't know how unusual you would consider them.

I love my Borbonius Anthias pair.

My next favorites are my pair of flashing tilefish. I'm actuallly going to get a 3rd.

Many different types of beautiful wrasses. I have 3 different types.

Marine Betta are cool, but can be finicky eaters

Lyretail Anthias are awesome, and mine eat pretty well.
