looking to buy a 40B, or a tank setup

im looking specifically for a 40 breeder, but if someone has a good deal, i might bite.

where would be the best place to buy a new 40 breeder?

aquarium adventure has them for 87.99

how old is the tank? i see you used it as your QT, you didnt use copper at all did you?

what about the best place to get a premade cabinet and hood that would fit a 40 breeder?

im looking for something kinda modern.

i did use copper, but copper should not and would not leech into the silicone as people think, if you are worried i can give it a thorough cleaning on top of what i was going to clean it for you

No thats alright man thanks, i dont want to take any chances. im doing a full on reef tank/frag tank it, so i dont want to take any chance.

if there is even a trace amount of copper left after you clean it, it will still leach into the water to kill things.

i see you have MH, that was my intention of lighting too. this could possibly work out.

I have a DIY stand. Its not furniture grade or anything but it looks ok. No canopy, the lights are the coralife aqualight clipons. I'm getting the new tank next week. So it will probably be about two weeks from there before I get everything done and transferred.

what color is the stand?

is it possible to make the coralife clipons a pendant inside of a canopy? like a retrofit kit?

Here is a picture of the tank

its a young picture but shows the the light spread.
I will get a picture of the tank, stand, and lights. The lights could easily be disconnected from the clipon part and attached to a canopy.

just the HQI lights no actinics or moonlights. the stand is a light oak. like the aga oak ones. my camera is dead right now, so i will get pictures in the morning. the whole setup $350.00, that includes:
tank, stand, 2 150w HQI, 2 HOB overflows, mag 9.5 hooked up to a SCWD for return, 2 aquaclear 50 powerheads, 20g long sump, sand 2 visi therm stealth heaters.
