Looking to join..

Good evening and happy Holidays to all. I've been out of the hobby for 3 years because of a move, after 35 in it. Restarted my 265 gal reef in May. Now it's time to join a club. I live in Monroe, so your club is local to me. I've looked at the website. What I couldn't see is the location, dates or times of your meetings.

I look forward to attending your next meeting if possible.

Skip - We're a pretty casual club. This past year we've switched to meeting on alternating months. So our next is due in January. It'll be posted in this forum once the time/place is locked down.

We generally meet in member's homes, but not always. We rarely do "business" in the meetings. 99% of the time is just local reefers talking to local reefers. That's how we like it.

We'd love to have you join us. So please keep an eye out in this forum soon announcing details.

Skip - Glad you asked!

We had a "administrative ****-up" this month. By coincidence, it's never happened before. We thought we had a place lined up for January, but it fell through. We might have a "make up" meeting in Feb, but it's more likely next March.

Our March meeting is a big deal for us - lots of people there - as it's when we elect new officers, decide what we want to spend club funds on, etc.

Bottom line... Sorry. No January meeting. Thanks and please stay tuned.
