Today I stopped by the LFS in my area to check out the goodies. They had one there that I really liked, I had never seen anything like it before, when I asked what it was, the owner told me it was a galaxy coral, but I'm not sure. The colors on this were more of a light green/yellow with purple tips. and it had separate heads, more like that of a branching hammer. I really liked the look of this guy, and would like to research it a bit to see if this might be something I would be willing to get. But I can't find any info on something like this. I look up galaxy corals, and I don't see anything close to what was at the LFS today. Would anyone here have an ideal of what this coral really is, is it infact a galaxy coral, or something else. Would anyone know what the care would be if we can figure out what it is.
I have a 180, with 3x250MH 14K's, 75 gal sump. Right now I do have a few hammers, branching and wall that are doing extremly well for a few years, and a chilli coral that has trippled in size since last summer.
So I think I should be able to care for this, I just really should know what it is.
No I didn't get it yet, it is still at the LFS, but I would like to find infor on it, and maybe get it before it is gone.
