looking up info.

Today I stopped by the LFS in my area to check out the goodies. They had one there that I really liked, I had never seen anything like it before, when I asked what it was, the owner told me it was a galaxy coral, but I'm not sure. The colors on this were more of a light green/yellow with purple tips. and it had separate heads, more like that of a branching hammer. I really liked the look of this guy, and would like to research it a bit to see if this might be something I would be willing to get. But I can't find any info on something like this. I look up galaxy corals, and I don't see anything close to what was at the LFS today. Would anyone here have an ideal of what this coral really is, is it infact a galaxy coral, or something else. Would anyone know what the care would be if we can figure out what it is.
I have a 180, with 3x250MH 14K's, 75 gal sump. Right now I do have a few hammers, branching and wall that are doing extremly well for a few years, and a chilli coral that has trippled in size since last summer.
So I think I should be able to care for this, I just really should know what it is.
No I didn't get it yet, it is still at the LFS, but I would like to find infor on it, and maybe get it before it is gone.

Nope not those. The best way to discribe it is.
It had separte head like a branching hammer, but the heads looks more like little individual flower anemones. At first that is in fact what I thought they were, a bunch of little flower anemones laying next to each other in the tank. The color was light green, the would be beads were sort of yellow with purple tips. Like I said awesome little flower anemones, but then there is the branching system holding these all together, just like a branching hammer. So it is 5 or 6 of these heads on one coral.
Maybe a green branching hammer got turned on by that cute little flower anemone in the corner of the tank and just couldn't help himself. So should I get this little guy, what do you think it is. Maybe the LFS didn't know either and just threw something out there.

I found it, I believe it to be an elegance coral, instead of a galaxy coral. I can't belive the LFS would make that mistake, but then, I can. I will do a little more reading, and decide in a couple of days. I will say, it looked great, But then I can also go back this coming weekend and check it out. See if it still looks good.

Copy and paste this " Cataphyllia jardinei " shouldnt take you to long to read about there bad record for survival lately. Evidently this has been going on for the past handfull of years.
