Lost my male Clarkii clown

I had a huge size pair of Clarkii clowns that spawned every 3 to 4 weeks for 3 years. I lost the male today and now need to know how best to get the female to pair up with a male. Any ideas as to the safest approach. She is huge and can be aggressive and sometimes even bites my hand when I am tending to the tank.
