Loud Mp10wqd & bad magnet

So i picked up a new mp10wqd last week and is soooo loud. I have another that was just a upgraded controller and i run it at 95% and is virtually silent, and is wet side cage has been cracked and glued together. The new one is ran at the highest 60% and is louder than my old mp10wes. Also when i run them in sync master/slave the wet side falls off every so often. But when i run it in nonsync mode it stays together. What's going on? Did i just get a lemon? I love my Ecotech equipment but this is disappointing to say the least.

Also will the reef link ever be able to sync my xr30 pro to the mp10wqds for storm mode or night time modes? Really not wanting to go with a apex if it's something in the works.

It sounds as though the wetside needs time to break in. I would recommend running your pump in constant mode at it's lowest speed. Gradually increase the speed over the course of the next 1-2 weeks. If you continue to have noise issues at that time, please call us and have the serial number from your pump handy.
