low ph

mine ph was 8.1 during the day and around 7.8 at nite ........my tank is in the basement and there are only 2 small vents in the glass block windows to get any air in but those have been closed last 2 day cuz of the heat....i also run my skimmer air line input right to the window but it is closed now.......now the ph is at 7.85 during the day and 7.70 at nite ..... im not driping any kalk and never have before and dont have ATO ........ im worried that with windows closed for a while the oxygen level will be low in the basement for few months.. looking for a solution...........

Only a few solutions: decrease CO2 or add kalk/buffer. Its not the low O2 thats lowering the PH, its excessive Co2 either from decay or buildup in the house
