Lps friendly ati sunpower

Been thinking that my 6 bulb sunpower is blasting my lps with too much light, so I wanna experiment and see if they expand and grow better with only 4 bulbs running but my question is will this work or will I be really be just underlighting them. Anyone who has done the same please chime in with some exp or insight thanks.

Calcium is 500ppm and alk is 10 on a api test kit. Only ones of my lps that will take amino acid soaked mysis is the favias, acans, and trumpets. The torch and frogspawn refuse any foods.

May want to try raising the light higher above the tank or reducing the amount of time they are on.

What makes you think that they are getting too much light? Is this an LPS dominated tank or are there SPS and other really high light critters (anemones and clams) to worry about. These are all things to consider when deciding whether or not to cut the light output getting to the tank.

Everything I have is in my signature. Also been thinking about maybe some chemical warfare going on slowing growth in my tank as well. But I feel I have good filtration to at least put a really big dent in it.

Canister filter with 2 bags of chemipure, bag of charcoal, gfo reactor and no filter sponge on my return pump. Runs 24/7
