LPS Lighting

What are the tank dimensions? I am setting up a 225 and am looking at the 72 inch aquatinics T5 setup. Not as much heat generated.

Any of these lighting schemes would work fine. In any case, just be sure to carefully acclimate them to your lighting scheme.

Ha, I forgot about this thread.

I think the tank dimension is 8 feet by 24 inches by 28 inches or something like that. ( L x W x H).

I forgot to add that I am currently using 2 lumenarcs with 250s. I was wondering if I should downgrade them since they seem to be doing a lot better under 175 in a QT tank than my original 250s.

Dannyboy: The reason why I don't use so much light is because the lumenarcs cover a good range where I don't need to add more lights. Another reason is because of the increase electricity bill. It went up by a 100 last month.

Drew: I don't have any issues with overheating issues or freezing cold issues with the tank. It seems perfectly fine. The only things I have trouble with at the moment is : green slime algae and ick.

I'm no expert but here's my short experience:
I've been using 2 X 175 MH and placing my LPS frags in different areas of the tank to see what different lighting intensity would do to them.
Its been about 5 months now and they all seem to adapt quite well, but the ones closer to the light have grown faster and recovered better when my earchin crashes something onto them
