LPS Recommendations

I recently started adding some LPS coral to my aquarium. I'm looking for more suggestions (ideally easy, "fast-growing" coral).

Currently, my tank has a branched hammer, a frogspawn, a chalice (hoping to get more), a few acans (and more to come), a micromussa, and I inherited a medium-sized frag of alveopora from an 8 year old (in captivity anyways) colony. Besides those, I also have many zoas and palys, gsp, a couple of ricordea, some glove polyps, and a Japanese leather coral.

Using Maxxspect LEDs. Feeding reef roids, Ultra Marine food for zoas/ricordeas, and LRS to the coral that can take it. Also throwing in amino acids from Ultra Marine. All coral are healthy.

What do you recommend?

Lobophilla (sp?) are a nice addition that can some nice color.

I love the look of the Duncans! Do they come in different colors?

I like the colors offered by the lobophyllia and the favia/favites, but not sure about the shape.

Is there anything negative or concerning I should know about acanthophyllia (doughnut coral)? Those are stunning too!

Just different shades of green,grey, brown.

Doughnut and meat type corals are very nice, but they don't fit your description of easy and fast growing.

I would say acans. So many different varieties, priced pretty good, and they start growing very fast(especially when fed).

Acans are a good suggestion.

Nothing wrong with meat type corals, just don't expect them to grow quickly

My LFS has been fragging a few rainbow acans for the last few months. I'll probably pick up a small frag for my tank in the next couple of weeks.

How did I forget candycanes!? Among the hardiest lps, and they grow quickly

Too bad the elegance coral has such a bad survival rate. Probably the sweetest looking lps imo.

I want blastos really bad! The Australian ones look so amazing! Definitely will look into that.

My LFS just got gold-tipped elegance coral too. I would love a frag of that, but alas its track record leaves a lot to be desired. I won't go for the goniopora.

Trumpet and candy cane corals are a good idea! I haven't seen them in awhile where I shop. I should try to find some.

Acan, euphilia, tracaphilia, lodophilia are all great easy lps. I really love acans and trachaphilia aka open brain corals. Sorry if my spelling is incorrect been awhile since reef savy.

Continued the collection with a UFO Aussie scolymia and will be adding 2 more rainbow acans next week
