lps stinging cells

i have a few corals gettin stung but none of my lps corals can reach them can they send anything through the water like 6 inches away any answers would help thanks

Yes, some LPS can have sweeper tentacles that reach that long. What corals do you have?

I don't know the max length of sweepers for each LPS, but someone here probably does.
