LTA and Eggcrate bottoms

Ill be upgrading from a 55g to a 75g in the near future, and im thinking of covering the bottom of the 75g with eggcrate to protect from rocks, etc. the question I have is will this bother my LTA since it will have a hard time securing to the tank bottom?

yes but you can put a flat piece of pvc or granit over eggcrate were you are going to place lta or hope were he goes and then cover with sand so he can stick to it otherwise i dont think he like the crate.
