LTA move from rock to sand

i got an LTA from the pet store and also purchased the rock it was attached to because i did not want the lady to just rip it off and put it in a bag. i read that with poor lighting they will attach to a rock instead of the sand so i just assume it was on the rock because the store only has NO lighing on there tank, probably a sign i shouldnt have bought it along with the fact that the other anemones were all bleached out, but looked really nice other than no color. so i brought it home driped it and then put it in the tank still on the rock. well today i looked at him and he moved straight down to the sand.
I guess i mostly just wanted to comfirm that this means it is happy. it opens up nicely and the foot is nice and red and the disc and tenticles are nicely colored.

Added bonus my clowns have taken a liking to it as well.

Yes, for LTAs digging into the sand is the way they attach normally. They like a fairly deep sand bed (at least 4 inches).

LTA's are sandwellers, probably just on the rock at the LFS because they either don't have sand in their tanks, or it's very shallow sand.

Good to know. Right now it is just barely 4" so I will move a little more sand from the other side of the tank so it will feel nice and cozy

wait to move the sand till he attaches to the bottom of the tank so you dont spook him 4 inches is ok for now.f'n lfs there should be laWs against keeping livestock that way.like puppy mills anenome mills.i love going to the store and seeing nems uin tanks with crappy lighting all bleached and asking why and they say they were told that kind on anenome doesnt need bright lite.lol why why why1
