lumenarc reflectors

I haven't run any but from what I have read yes. Reflectors have improved tremendously over the last few years. I upgraded reflectors in my tank move last summer and corals I had to keep mid tank to color up now color up on the bottom of my tank with the same lighting.

well thats no good I really have no way of raising them initially to prevent from bleaching my corals you have seen my set-up so you know what I mean how did you go that?

I have read that some folks have placed several layers of screen material, the stuff used to make screen doors, over the tank. Pick the number of layers that approximates the amount of light you had before you installed the MH lighting. Every three or four days remove one of the layers until all have been removed. This will allow your corals to acclimate to the increased intensity.

Eddie's idea would have the same effect as raising the lamps. One of them would work great over your tank though, but they are rather large 18" x 18" x 12".

Yea I have made the measurements and they will fit perfect and i can still keep the T5's in there, It will the whole canopy up but it will fit.

If I remember correctly, don't you access the tank from the front? Be sure you measure to see if you will still have room to work in the tank because the reflector will come down about 12" in the front so it might make things tight.

Good thinking maybe I do need to re measure, but I still think I may be ok, I gotta good deal on one so I am gonna give it a shot I think I can make it work
