lunare wrasse went nuts

Hi,

We have a Lunnare Wrasse that is about 5 inches. He is a 90 gallon with a zebra eel and a dogface puffer. Well everything has been going great until now. I got a call from my wife when i was at work and she told me that the puffer was all puffed up and that the lunare wrasse kept harrassing him. And now he went down to the eels cave and was harrasing it to the point that the eel came out and was swimming around, the eel is about 30 inches.

Has anyone else experienced this before with this fish? I am going to try and net him out and put him in a 10gallon tank and try to take him to the LFS for trade or credit if this dosent stop.

HA! Lunare got ****ed! They can be a tough fish when they want. I would see it as either of 2 ways....either the others will have to toughen up and answer back or it was being picked on by some chance and said anarchy!

In either case, I would let go on for a day or 2......let them figure it out. Unless you'd rather have a different fish than the wrasse and then this would be the perfect time to switch it out.

Well i wasn't at home at the time all this happened. Today though everything was normal. I will just see how things go for now.

lunares and big thalassoma wrasses can be very belligerent,very.

Thalassomas(i had first hand experience with lunare and kruzingeri) are psycho,nut,bad bad asss;What ever they say about them ,these are hatefull,mad and irrational animals.....
I hate them because i have lost many fishes because of these critters.............They are also very vicious,attack happens when the lights goes off and their target tissue is the eye,just to let blinded,nothing more..........Get ride of it and say your friend not to buy these thalassomas........PERFECT GIFT FOR YOUR ENNEMIES!!!!
