Lunula Triggerfish

Does anyone keep one of these? I have several large Australian Angels and was thinking about buying one. How aggressive are these relative to other more common triggers?

I've never kept one but I assume from my exoerience from other rhinecanthus triggers they are alot more passive than most triggers. I currently have a 5 inch humu who is a complete pushover. I personally find humus a lot more attractive than lunulas even though the are not "rare".

I agree with fishymel. Plainer version of the humu probably with similar disposition. I'd rather have a humu for $25.

Have any of you seen one of these in person or just pics?

They are very unique looking in person,

They have a much longer jaw structure that a huma, assasi and rectangle.

If you have the money it is a very cool fish IMO

Chris,

I have only seen them in pictures. I have a 3 large Australian Angels so I thought it might be cools to have a trigger from that part of the world. There are currently 2 for sale on Diver's Den.

I do have some pictures of my Personifer and Scribbled Angels. I just need to figure out how to compress them so they are small enough to post on Reefcentral.

Use photobucket,
then you do not have to compress them.

Go to the photography forum here,

ther is a stickied thread at the top that tells you exactly how to do it.
