Does anyone have any pictures of lymphocyctis?
I know what ich looks like & the fish don't have ich. Doesn't look to be velvet either from the pictures I can find. It started with a spot on a fin of a firefish on Friday & he has scratched on the rocks a few times. The other firefish & the goby now have spots on their fins, no one else is acting itchy & no one is breathing heavy. There are no lesions on any of the fish and I can't find any of these spots on their bodies. Everyone is eating well.
From what I can find good nutrition & pristine water is the key. I have been feeding frozen twice a day or frozen once & clam frenzy once a day. Today I fed frozen brine & dried cyclopeeze soaked in fish oil. I have selcon too. Any other feeding suggestions are appreciated.
I did a 9g water change on Tuesday last week. If I do another 9g w/c this week is that sufficient or should I break it down to 5g every few days until I've changed about 20 or 30g out?
Is this something that can be brought in on a CUC or stress induced. Monday last week I come in to find the skimmer overflowed & the ATO shut off, at least I didn't flood the office. Tuesday a peppermint was added & he was mia by Thursday am. Thursday I added a small CUC of snails & they through in some tiny hermits.
Last fish added were the firefish on March 12th & the randall was put in before them in December. No other fish have been in this tank & this is the first I've seen any of this behavior.
I know the fish can have this & ich too. I'm looking for some more information before I pull fish & decide to treat for ich. I keep a log of what goes in & goes on in the tank if anyone has any additional questions.
