So my two Semilarvatus B/F had a mild case of lympho. I've never had this in my tanks before, this was a first time experience.
After reading about it, it doesnt sound like there is much you can do for it, just provide good water quality and it will go away on it's own.
These two B/F are in a 29g quarantine tank which I do about 25% water changes on daily, plus I run an ammonia absorbing and activated carbon mix in a filter sock, the water quality always tests out as good, but who knows, they got it for some reason.
Anyway, one B/F only has a small spot on his back fin on the edge, you can barely see it.
The other one had a pretty decent sized chunk on the edge of his pectoral fin on the left side. Also, right where that chunk would touch his body when he pulls his fins back developed a small piece of lympho also.
I've been watching them for about 3 weeks now and I noticed last night that the lympho on the pectoral fin of the 2nd fish is now missing. He still has it on his side, but the fin lympho is gone.
Does that stuff just fall off? I thought it basically was like a wart that the fish had to fight off and it would slowly disappear? It certainly didnt work like that in this case, it was there at the lunch feeding and then not there when I got home from work and went to feed again in the evening...
