Lyretail Hawkfish has enlarged eye

Has anyone seen this before? I don't know how this happened. Is it an injury or a health issue? I have a very small snowflake eel in the tank. This is the only hunch I have. The hawk may have rock-hopped right next to the eel cave and got a rude welcome. I really don't know. It looks horrible and it has gotten larger over the last few days.

Here is a good thread on pop eye.... I have a group of 11 Lyretails that I've had for over a year in a 200 gallon... with the constant jockeying for position in the hierarchy someone always has a battle wound.
