Macro algae placement for nano

I have an 8 gallon nano with a kessil 360 as my light. I will be upgrading the tank to accomidate my light as it is a bit too much light.

I just received a clipping of Ora blue macro algae and a green macro algae freebie. How high in the tank should I put this display algae?

Hey Cubuffs

I keep my Blue Hypnea (now yours) on the higher end in my tank.. Although I do have a piece that is thriving lower in my tank as well, it does seem like the color comes out as it gets closer to the light source.
