Macro Algae Quarantine Help

I collected some ulva lettuce and was wondering the best way to get it pest free? Should I just swirl it in saltwater, freshwater dip it or what? It contains a lot of amiphipods, isopods, few snails and a crab. These were collected on jetties in the northern Gulf near Orange Beach, Al.

I quarantine my collected kelp that's going into any aquarium only because I want want to isolate whatever goodies I want like Aeolidias and large pods. After a few weeks you'll see small crabs and carnivorous snails emerge that are a PiTA to remove from a sump or DT.
