Macro ID Please

I have this leafy growth on a few rocks. I have tried to prune it off most but I have one rock that it looks really nice on. I would like to leave it as long as it won't take over everything. Also I have a green type of growth too. It is on the left in the pic. Looks like some sort of calcerous sp? type of macro. I have seen it at the LFS but they don't know what it is called. any help would be great. Thanks

OCEANUS thanks for the ID. After searching the web it certainly looks like Neomeris Annulata. From what I have read it looks harmless, besides liking calcium. My calc levels are good so it should do alright in my tank. As for the other. I am still unsure.

any suggestions on the leafy macro? Or any good websites that may have more info. I haven't had much luck on google so far.

Thanks

That looks about right. So far I haven't read about any problems with it. Anyone know if this stuff is bad? I plan on keeping it restricted to one rock through pruning.

Aww. :-( Neomeris doesn't hurt anything. It's a calcifying dasycladalean and if it is growing well its a sign of good water quality IMHO.
