you are basicaly looking for a light with 6500k temp
the fuge light cost me 12$ each (i think), and do very good at focusing light in a small area. you will need a light socket, i use the reptile lamps which include the reflector (which i dont use). these i think cost another 5-6$.
i have recently started using the 4 ft shop lights from home depot. the lights are 4 ft 32 (i think) watt 6500k T8s. they come in pairs for like 4-5$. together this shop light and lights came to 16$. today was the first day i had chaeto under these lights and i noticed alot of oxygen bubbles forming through out the macro algae.
